No teacher is unaware of the head lice epidemic that is sweeping Britain’s schools. In the UK head lice currently affects 1 in 5 primary school children.

We are inviting schools to join Nice ‘n Clear in the ‘Nit Free Challenge’, an ongoing nation-wide campaign helping schools to combat ‘the second most communicable disease after the common cold’.

The aim of the campaign is to increase awareness of the head lice epidemic and to ensure that parents and teachers are well informed of how to:

Locate head lice
Implement treatment
Check heads regularly
Eradicate infestation by telling friends and family
